Receitas de doces de Natal (cookies for christmas)

dezembro 20, 2016

Port.: Heeey heey!!

Eng.: Heeey heeey!!
I decided to challenge VirginiaAna Sofia e a Catarina to do some sweet recipes for Christmas. So, each one of them did a post with a recipe chosen by them.
Go check out their blogs because the recipes are wonderful!

As you know Christmas is coming and with him comes the candy excesses. Because of this motive, I decided to do a oatmeal and red fruits cookies recipe. These ones only contain good ingredients for you ehehe. I wanted to show you that is actually possible to have on the table healthy food.  Of course we all have those sweets that are so nice and already are a tradition in family, I have them too ahaha.
So, each one of us is going to show you a healthy sweets to show you.

FILLING

Port.: É melhor começar pelo recheio. Precisam de frutos vermelhos, limão e mel.

Eng.: You better start to do the filling. You'll need red fruits, lemon and honey.

Eng.: Put like 6 soup spoons of honey, half of a lemon (you only need the juice) and about the red fruits I put what I thought it was enough.
Mix everything and after 10min smash the fruits and it's done.
It's actually a jam and if you don't use everything for the filling you can also use this for toasts it tastes good!

COOKIES

Eng.: For the cookies you'll need oatmeal (I put it what I thought it was the best), cinnamon (1 dessert spoon), salt (1 teaspoon), honey (6 soup spoons), one egg, baking powder (1 dessertspoon), flour (90g), vegetal butter soup (2 soup spoons).

Eng.: In a bowl you mix the dry ingredients and in another bowl the rest of it.
Then put the "liquid ones" in the bawl of the dry ingredients

Eng.: You put the cookie batter in a plastic wrap and then put it in the fridge for 30min.

Do you see the pink color, right? It's because I put red fruits on it, it's optional but I think it tastes better.

Eng.: Then you preheat the oven while you make the cookies with the shape you want. I did it with a hole in the middle so then you can see the filling because the goal is to make kind of a sandwich, it looks prettier ahaha
Then you put in on top, if you want to, grated coconut.

Eng.: Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and I hope you like the idea.
Don't forget to see the other recipes.
